Research shows massage as therapy can help relieve stress for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Serene Vibe is a wearable scalp massager intended for use before escalation, combining haptic massage at the ears and scalp with ambient noise cancelling to support calm in unfamiliar environments. An estimated 1 in 70 Australians is diagnosed with ASD. Meltdowns can involve loss of control and self-harm risk. Many existing products are poorly suited to complex needs. Serene Vibe prioritises durability, deep-pressure tactility, and user control. Haptic engines massage the ears and scalp. Noise cancelling reduces ambient sound. A steel skeleton and hinges reinforce the structure; the frame is ABS. Memory foam and silicone cushions support longer wear. Side tactile plates provide deep-pressure engagement.
